RAPID RECOVERY PROGRAM
Customized Care Plan
The goal of our Rapid Recovery Program is enable our patients to recapture their independence and return to home. Patients reside is cozy private rooms with easy access to their nurses and rehabilitation gym
Soon after your admission work one-on-one with a licensed therapist who will assess your needs and develop a customized recovery plan designed improve your ability to walk and do activities of daily living maximize your independence and preparing you to return home.
Our rehabilitation team includes:
Physical Therapists:
Help improve your strength, range of motion and balance so you can regain as much independence as possible with walking and transfers (getting on and off a chair).
Occupational Therapists:
Help you regain as much independence as possible with activities of daily living through; visual perception training; upper extremity strengthening and coordination; and self-care skills.
Speech therapists:
Helps you maximize your communication capabilities and overcome swallowing difficulties.
Our rehabilitation center is equipped with state-of-the-art rehab technology including e-stim, diathermy, ultra-sound, and omni cycles to be used by our therapists during your recovery.
NURSING CARE SERVICES
Providing you with care and comfort around the clock.
Nursing care is an integral part to your recovery from any acute hospital stay. Our experienced nursing team will create a customized care plan in consultation with your physicians to manage your chronic and acute illnesses and to reduce your risk for future hospitalizations which can jeopardize your recovery.
Lawrence Street Health Care Center offers both short and long-term care for the individuals suffering with heart disease, COPD, Diabetes, and other diagnoses and symptoms such as pain. The goal of our nursing staff is to maximize your health and reduce your risk for acute medical conditions which can result in hospitalizations. We strive to improve your quality of life and your family’s peace of mind.
Our staff includes physicians, nurses and aides who are experienced in treating a wide variety of healthcare issues and medical diagnosis. Our team is able to help manage complex medical conditions such as wounds and tracheotomies.

Quality of life program begins with learning a detailed life history of our residents as they are integrated into our community.
Therapeutic activities and our rehabilitation department collaborate to create activity experiences that enhance the residents’ quality of life and rehabilitation outcomes. The goal is to speed the residents recovery and increase the chances that they’ll return home with greater independence.
